What It Was:

Research project focused on the GenZ target audience and their relationship with Seminary + Institute (religious classes/programs that students can take.)

What I Learned:

  • Find ways to form genuine relationships with the client over Zoom. Even though you will probably never see or meet them in real life.

  • Communicate with the client, but don’t bug or overwhelm them.

  • When trying to understand the target audience, it’s okay to listen to your high school music playlist to try to put yourself in their shoes.

  • It can be hard to conduct meaningful interviews with high school students.

  • When you finish gathering and organizing dozens of pages of data you feel like a million bucks.

  • Designing research books is fun to do. Especially while watching the Bachelorette.

  • Never be afraid to step up and offer additional help.

My Role:

Account Manager, Client Presenter, Book Designer

Gathered all the information to present through the form of a Research Book that I co-designed with @danecarlson.

Ask Me About:

  1. The interviews I conducted with 4 high school students over Zoom

  2. Designing a research book with a two day deadline

  3. Managing dozens of client + project documents

What We Made:

  • Several Cliental Research Presentations*

  • Dozens of Insights and Brand Recommendations*

  • In-Depth Research Book****
